A among other functions, Section 11 (2) (g) (iii) mandates the ODPOD Director to annually publicize in the Gazette a summary of declarations filed by each listed public officer. In keeping with this requirement, on 3rd June, 2022, the ODPOD gazetted names of listed public officers in the political and elected officials’ category for the first time. Gazetting of declarations for categories of Senior Public Officers and other listed public officers will follow.
The Public Officers (Declaration of Assets, Liabilities and Business Interests) Act also provides for public access to declarations where details and value of summarized declarations can be viewed. Summaries of declarations in the Gazette can be accessed by clicking the link below:-
